The Mustangs battled Arlington and came out on top to earn 3rd place in the Conference Tournament today at Louisville. Way to work ladies!!
The Raymond Central boys took third in their own home tournament today. It was a great day to be a Mustang and an epic weekend for RC wrestling. Great job everyone.
The January 30 wrestling invite at Raymond Central proved to be an exciting event. The athletes competed late into the evening, with the last girls' championship matches taking place around 9:00 PM. With approximately fifty teams in attendance, it was a bustling day. Great job, Mustangs.
Mrs. Polak's first period Geography class implemented a multifaceted instructional strategy, incorporating novelty, variety, teamwork, and gamification to create a unique learning opportunity for students. Her Breakout Boxes were stocked with prizes for students to collect upon completing the task. By utilizing content from the current geography unit, the activity provided a comprehensive review in an engaging and interactive format. Excellent job, Mrs. Polak!

The Mustangs narrowly missed completing a remarkable comeback victory in the NCC tourney against Yutan. After conceding a 13-point first-period lead to the hosts, the Ladies in blue demonstrated exceptional determination, battling, clawing, and scratching their way back into contention, ultimately making the game extremely competitive. Excellent effort, ladies. Go Mustangs!
Today, Tower of Tampons partnered with Raymond Central High School to donate pads and tampons for all students who need them—because access to menstrual products is a basic necessity. By supplying free period products, we’re helping students stay confident, comfortable, and focused on what truly matters: learning and thriving. Thank you to Willa Van Boening and Tower of Tampons for providing this need for all girls.
The wrestling match between Mustangs and Omaha Concordia on senior night attracted a considerable crowd, underscoring the community's interest in the sport. Consistently, events like these draw a large and supportive audience. The home team enjoyed a triumphant evening, notching two impressive dual wins.
Congratulations to the following Raymond Central Band and Choir students who have had a busy past few days participating in the following honor bands / choirs! They gained amazing experience and had fun learning from guest directors and performing harder music with larger ensembles. Way to go!

Mustangs Girls Basketball wins and advances in the NCC Tournament. They will play At Yutan on Thursday night!
Due to extreme cold air temperatures and wind chills Raymond Central will have a 2 hour late start on Monday, January 26. Busses run accordingly.
