Teaching and learning persist at RCHS, where Mrs. Dowding's Science Class engaged in a creative activity today to examine the lunar phases, leveraging Play Doh for visual reinforcement.
RCHS Senior and Staff Basketball Event. It is rumored that the staff dominated this game. They had an exceptionally skilled player though…Mr. Hilyard will be required to play blindfolded next year. One of the most distinguished traditions at Raymond Central is our "Senior Signing Day". Today marked the conclusion of the academic journey for our class of 2026. This event entails seniors signing a letter of intent to confirm their post-graduation plans, including college, the workforce, military, or other options. Students wore shirts representing their intended destination. The whole school attended an assembly, accompanied by a performance from our school's Pep band. We uphold a strong tradition of excellence at RCHS!
Congrats to our very own Melissa Nierman! She is the recipient of the Jack R. Snider Young Band Director Award! Congrats Mrs. Nierman!

Raymond Central presented a spectacular Grade 6-12 Choir and Band Concert this evening. The progress in this program is remarkable and the sound they produced is equally impressive. We also bid farewell to a talented group of seniors who received their letters and two of them were given the John Phillips Souza and Louis Armstrong Awards. It was an exceptional program that showcased the RC programs.
Yesterday our Vet science Class wrapped up their unit on Vital signs practicing on real patients!
Come to the 6-12 Music Concert TONIGHT at 5:30pm and 7:00pm! Also, we're doing a 48 hour donation for the Music Program!
