Two more new faces at RC!

RCHS took a moment today to recognize the achievements of our three remarkable student teachers as they wrap up their student teaching experience. Mr. Hyde, Ms. Marker, and Ms. Lane are wished continued success as they launch their careers. Their teaching abilities and personal character have been truly exceptional. We feel fortunate to have been a part of their growth and development. We offer our heartfelt congratulations to each of them.

The cast and crew of Mamma Mia are heading into tech week, which means they will add costumes, lights, full set, and more to make the show come to life. Enjoy a sneak peak with these rehearsal photos! Don't miss the performances next weekend, May 1st-3rd! Tickets available now!

Congratulations to our current and new NHS members!

A signature element of Mrs. Parks Foods and Dessert/Pastry Classes is her interpretation of Cupcake Wars. With a smaller class this year and acknowledging that these are collaborative endeavors, we only had two submissions this year. The quality was impressive and, I must say, the flavor was exceptional. What a great activity to showcase a variety of culinary, measuring, mixing, and teamwork skills.

Today the RC plant science class took a trip to Great Plains Nursery! Here, we toured their greenhouses and outdoor spaces and learned about how they built their business. Thank you Heather, for the tour and for your generous donation of plants for our landscaping project!

Calendar Update: The last day of school for the students will be May 20th, it is a noon dismissal.
