The student body and staff have selected two substitutes for recognition this Friday, and we would like to extend our congratulations to Mr. Randy R. and Mr. Jim M. for their outstanding contributions to the school. Although I was unable to capture the moment on video, the announcement was met with enthusiastic applause from the students. One of the substitutes was honored yesterday, and I managed to take a photo.

Our inaugural Friday celebration of the school year was a huge success, with thirteen family members being honored for their dedication and hard work. We also took the opportunity to welcome three student teachers and profile our school's programs, complemented by musical performances from our band. The event's climax was the announcement of Mr. Jim Murphy as an award winner, which drew a rapturous response from the student body. This achievement is historic for our school, as Jim is one of two substitutes to have been nominated, underscoring our commitment to recognizing the contributions of every individual.

Congratulations to the Academic Honor Roll recipients for the fall semester 2025!

RC Boys Wrestling is participating in today's dual tournament at Wood River, achieving a 1-2 record in pool play and setting themselves up for the placement rounds where they faced Broken Bow and then Wood River. Great wrestling from great athletes and fantastic people.

The RC athletes demonstrated unwavering determination, although Yutan proved to be a formidable opponent in the end. Keep working fellas.

The hosts hold off the Lady Mustangs and win by eleven in Yutan.

We are back! Dr. Kristen Job and Andrew Placke commenced our staff development day with an insightful presentation on high-ability learners, exploring AI integration in the classroom.

An impressive week of wrestling is coming to a close. The Lady Mustangs competed today in Platteview. They are demonstrating notable progress as a team. Izzy's semifinal concluded with a spot in the championship match, Morghan and Kaitlin fought back and secured victories in matches they trailed in. Everyone came with a purpose and it showed. Excellent work, ladies.

A busy weekend of wrestling lies ahead for RC Wrestling in Platteview, beginning today with an exhibition of the boys' skills, as the Mustangs brought forth their Herd Mentality and dominated in the initial bouts. The girls wrestle tomorrow.
