The Raymond Central Cross-Country team competed today at the Bob Hoyer Invitational at Branched Oak. The Mustangs took advantage of the cooler temperatures, with ten high school athletes running personal bests against a competitive field. Medaling for the Mustangs were Allyson Tvrdy (9th) and Teagan Schomer (14th). Next action for the Mustangs is pink-out at the Raymond Central Invitational at Branched Oak on Thursday, October 2nd. Races begin at 10:00AM. There's no road too long for a Mustang.

RCHS is getting ready for Homecoming next week. We organized our Pep Rally today. Preschool joined in on the fun. The nominees for Mr. and Ms. Mustangs were revealed, and a relay was held. The Principal's participation was also secured. Thank you, William.

Picture Retakes are October 15th.
If you would like to have picture packages replaced for free with their student's retake image, students should bring and turn in their picture package to the photographer on retake day. Orders will be fulfilled for free and send it back to the school for distribution.
A few more details:
-There is no charge for retakes.
-Students and staff that did not get their photo taken on original photo day should come to retake day if they want to be included in the yearbook.
-If students did not purchase a package, we will still retake their image. No worries there. If they do want to purchase a package from their retake photo, the order code is 0094YF for the JH/HS.
The school wide generic picture day codes, including this retake code, will not charge shipping since the orders will be shipped bulk to the school for distribution. Approximately 3 days after photo day, photographed students will be assigned a student specific order code; because those codes are connected to student image and data - orders utilizing that student specific code will incur a shipping charge to the orderers home address.

The Raymond Central Cross Country teams competed this afternoon at the Shamrock Invitational hosted by Scotus Central Catholic. Several runners capitalized on the tough competition and optimal weather to come away with several personal and season's bests. Medaling for the Mustangs were Allyson Tvrdy (5th), Teagan Schomer (6th), Eli Zobel (8th), Sam Norlen (9th) and Kyson Effle (8th, boys junior high). The Mustangs will compete next Tuesday, September 23rd at the Bob Hoyer Invitational hosted by Malcolm at Branched Oak. Races begin at 10:00am. There's no road too long for a Mustang.

Greetings Mustangs. We are holding Parent Teacher Conferences on Thursday, September 25 starting at 12:30 PM.
A reminder that conferences at the secondary level are not scheduled like in the elementary. We will meet with you upon arrival in the new gymnasium where the staff will be waiting to visit with you. If a special conference time is requested for any reason, please reach out to that staff member personally to try and make arrangements.

Volleyball goes 1-1 at the Yutan triangular. Despite a strong showing in the last set, RCHS succumbs to Yutan 25-21 in the triangular matchup. Keep battling ladies. Pretty gutsy effort tonight. Onward and upward.
