The Senior bulletin board in the commons is a journey in pictures of our Senior class. Make certain you stop by and enjoy the walk down memory lane.

What a start to the Friday morning at RCHS! We started our Friday celebrations today. We celebrated a great start and profiled some of the great things that are happening here. Mr. Henderson, Mr. Semler, A. Hass, T. Taylor, M. Tvrudy, and Q. Steele were all recognized. The Band played the National Anthem to get us rolling. What a great kickoff to our Friday.

Mustang Softball plays hard against Aquinas. Fell short in a 4-0 loss but vast improvement is being shown by these girls.

Raymond Central Softball is in Aquinas tonight for a triangular. They battle well but come up short in the first game 6-5. Great start ladies.

You want to see rigor and relevance? Observe Raymond Central educators working with students. Mr. Staroscik's Chemistry class is a great example. The students designed the lab they are completing today. It comes complete with a hypothesis and a lab script. These students were into this activity.

It takes a village to raise a child, but an army to feed these Mustangs. What a team! What a family!!

Early mornings at Raymond Central are very busy. Cheer practices take place at these times along with a host of other activities. The parking lot was full at 6:45AM today.

Congratulations to Aleyna Cuttlers who has received an American Degree. This is the highest honor that FFA members can achieve. It signifies a member’s dedication to the agricultural education and commitment to FFA ideals. So proud of you and your amazing accomplishment!!

Our students at Raymond Central are in great hands. Just in the classes observed today, so many different strategies were being used by our educators. Strategies included but were not limited to: Rapport Building, Extended Wait Time, Reflective Questions, Push-Pull (APL), Multi-media , Student Choice, Small and large group pairings, Direct Instruction, Interactive Groupings, Dynamic Pairs, and Flexible Seating. Wow!

Come support our students in music at the following performances this year! All concerts are at the Jr./Sr. High School Main Gym unless indicated otherwise. We'd love to see you there!

Students and staff combined to attend the August Board Meeting. Senior students attended as part of their graduation requirements while members of the staff presented the new Six Phase Instructional Model to the Board.

So it begins! Mustang educators in the act of teaching today. No we are cooking! So much going on I couldn’t possibly catch it all.

Let’s go RC Mustang Athletics! The football, volleyball, and cross-country teams are gearing up for their fall campaigns. This should be a season of transition for all of these teams. Softball is no exception. Pictures are coming. These athletes have bought in! This should be fun.
