Raymond Central Public Schools -

This year the 2023-2024 speech team had 6 state qualifiers! Including Gavin Enevoldsen, Ellie White, Carlee Wolfe, Sophia Burt, Alli Miller, Kory Ball, and Grace Reed. Gavin Enevoldsen and Carlee Wolfe both made history for the Central Players qualifying for all three of their events.  Gavin qualified for the OID he was in, which also included Alli Miller and Kory Ball, as well as his duet with Ellie White, and his HI. Carlee  also qualified for all her events including, persuasive, informative, and entertainment speaking.  Grace Reed qualified for her POI and Sophia Burt qualified in extemporaneous speaking.  Although we only had one medalist, everyone worked and performed the best they could especially considering the circumstances. Carlee Wolfe was a huge representative for Raymond Central this week medaling in two of her events, 6th in informative as well as 6th in persuasive! And shout-out to Ashley Donahue for coming and being the Central Players  biggest cheerleader!
