Ceresco Staff Spotlight

This week Ceresco Staff Spotlight is Sophia Custer! She is one of the cooks at Ceresco Elementary. Sophia went to college at Western Nebraska Community College. A fun memory she has had in her words would be "Every day with the students is fun!! They say the darndest things!" Sophia's dream vacation would be a cruise to either Alaska or Greece. Her favorite drink is diet Mountain Dew and her favorite food is shrimp alfredo. When asked, ' Why did you choose to work in your position?' she responded, "It's a funny story about my becoming a cook. I was a bookkeeper at an ag implement dealership for over 30 years, and I always joked about my ideal retirement job would be to be a cook at a school, so lo and behold, that is what I am. I love the children and since I live in Ceresco, I know a lot of them through summer ball, church, etc.
