Senior Spotlight: Sophia Shultz

After graduation, Sophia plans to attend Fort Hays State University to major in Health and human sports performance business management and minor in Graphic design and will also be on the wrestling team. Since doing so great at wrestling this past weekend, wrestling means the world to her, she has fallen in love with what the sport has to offer not only can anyone do it but it is also a team sport as much as an individual sport. This sport has been a huge part of her life and she loves the competition and the camaraderie that specifically girl's wrestling has. Wrestling has impacted Sophia's life by a ton. It has taught her many life skills like determination, good sportsmanship, how to work hard, weight management, problem-solving skills, and commitment. Wrestling has impacted her life by giving me confidence and keeping me humble. In my free time, outside of wrestling, she enjoys going on runs outside and spending time with family and friends.
