This week's Staff spotlight is... Mr. Hackbart! What Mr. Hackbart loves about Raymond Central is the small-town community where everyone knows everyone. Which feels like home to him! Being a staff/teacher isn't what he always wanted to be. He hated everything about school while growing up. If he wasn't a teacher he would want to be a youth pastor or a custom woodworker. One thing students would be surprised to know about Mr. Hackbart would be that he showers in the dark. He says that it's an extra 10 minutes of sleep for him. What makes a 'good' day for him would be a good conversation while students are working on projects. Another teacher's class Mr. Hackbart would like to enroll in, even if it was just for a day would be wheel throw ceramics or mig/tig welding.
