This week's Jr. High Speech Spotlight is Mitchell Hellerich!  Mitchell is in 8th grade, and his favorite animal is the Emperor Penguin. He says he is in speech because he enjoys speaking in front of people. Mitchell's favorite memory of his time in speech is when he was in 6th grade, he was at a tournament in David City giving his Dramatic Interpretation (DI) when suddenly he had forgotten his entire speech. He began to make stuff up until he finally remembered it. Somehow he had gotten 3rd that night in his round. Mitchell has taken part in Informative speaking, Entertainment, Poetry, DI, HI, and Impromptu.
