Osten is our school counselor, a personal favorite of mine. She says that she has always wanted to be a teacher. Her mom is a teacher and so are so many of her aunts and uncles. Osten's mom still has a poster of her Kindergarten year when she said she wanted to be a teacher when she grew up.  If she hadn't chosen teaching her backup was being a social worker, but now if she made a major career change she would go into law enforcement and be a police officer. How wonderful! Outside of school, Osten spends time with her kids and husband. She enjoys swimming, reading, and hanging out at the farm she grew up at.  Fun facts about Osten are that she grew up on a dairy farm with Brown Swiss cows, they are her favorite kind of cow. She also has a twin brother, Trevor. She also really enjoys traveling and seeing new places. Lots of love to Osten!
