Unfortunately, the Spanish Club hasn't been able to do much recently, but a quick rundown of this semester. In September, we made Gallo Pinto, a Costa Rican rice and beans dish that is considered the country's national dish. We worked concessions for three events, had a Nebraska volleyball ticket raffle fundraiser, and a walking taco bar fundraiser.
The most exciting event for the club is that about 25 students, staff, and parents will be going to Costa Rica from June 10-18, 2024. It will be here before we know it!
