Jr/Sr High Reopening Plan

Raymond Central Mustangs

August 9, 2020

Jr/Sr Reopening Plan

Here is a reminder of our reopening plan.

Raymond Central Public Schools must come together and work for the common good to successfully open and sustain face-to-face instruction for the 2020-2021 school year. We are in this together as a team and will take the necessary precautions to keep our students and staff healthy and safe. Thank you students, staff, and families for your cooperation, understanding & support as we pull together to overcome the challenges we’ll surely face #RCJourney

As a reminder, the Raymond Central Schools reopening plan is based on the Lancaster County COVID-19 threat dial and will be updated accordingly as the health department analyzes data to make changes to the dial.

Please note that this is site specific for the Junior/Senior High School. We will still reference the district reopening plan as needed.

Digital Ethics & Online Reputation

For my Students

Digital Ethics & Online Reputation:

  • Explore Appropriate & Safe Sites
    • Not everything on the internet is true and accurate.
  • Help Prevent Cyberbullying
    • Be kind to all.  If you wouldn't say it to their face it is not okay to post it online either.
  • Self-image is Important
    • Would you want your parents/grandparents/future employers to see or read what's online about you?
  • Be Respectful when communicating online.
    • It's easy to 'talk' behind a screen, but remember what you post will be their forever.
  • Make sure your accounts are secure and private.
    • Only 'Friend' your friends and family. You don't want unwanted followers to see your private information!
  • Be positive about your school and your community!
    • We will see it!
  • Think about your digital footprint.
    • Again, would you want your parents/grandparents/future employers to see or read what's online about you?
