Hello! My name is Andrea Rockemann and this is my second year with Raymond Central Public Schools. I graduated from Waverly High School, just outside of Lincoln, and then continued my education at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. In 2008 I received my undergraduate degree (BFA) in Fine Arts/Studio Arts with an emphasis in photography. In 2010 I completed my Masters in Education with an emphasis in teaching, learning, and teacher education, also from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Prior to my time at Raymond Central I spent 11 years as a middle level art teacher at Fremont Public Schools. I also served as the head volleyball coach for two years, as well as the assistant girls' tennis coach for five years. Currently, I am the K-5 art teacher at both Valparaiso and Ceresco Elementary schools. I also get the opportunity to teach K-5 library at Valparaiso and 4th and 5th grade library at Ceresco Elementary. This will be my second year as the head volleyball coach at Raymond Central High School.

Welcome to Raymond Central K-5 Art! Please take a minute to enjoy the student artwork located within this site.

Pictured below: Ceresco Kindness Garden.

Each K-5 student designed and decorated a rock for the PTO Kindness project.  The garden is located outside the doors at the main entrance.
