• Each Semester Class = 5 Credits

All courses below are required.

• English – 40 credits

• Math – 30 credits

• Science – 30 credits

• Social Science – 45 credits

• Fine Arts – 10 credits – from Art, Music, Drama, Spanish, Competitive Speech, or Journalism

• Health – 5 credits

• Physical Education – 5 credits

• Business – 5 credits

• Family & Consumer Science – 5 credits

• Speech/Personal Communications – 5 credits

• 10 additional credits from Vocational or Fine Arts

• Electives – 40 additional credits

Credit totals are minimum standards required for graduation. Students should base course choices upon meeting individual student goals rather than meeting the minimum standard.  College-bound students should refer to college admissions requirements when choosing courses of study.

Dual Credit and College Credit courses are available.

Dual Credit courses include English Literature, English Composition, Calculus, College Algebra, Welding, and Sociology. Students must meet all requirements set forth by the college granting credit to enroll in these courses.

Online College Credit is available through SCC Advantage, SCC SENCAP, UNL Nebraska NOW or any other approved online college credit program.
