    The 4th, 5th and 6th grade students at Raymond Central Elementary have the opportunity to test for the Presidents Fitness Award in Physical Education class.  This physical testing is used to motivate students to strive for a higher level of fitness.  Participation is voluntary, however, if they choose not to participate they will be ineligible to receive a fitness award.

Shuttle Run

Curl-ups

Mile Run
 
Right Angle Push-ups
Pull-ups
Students will be given a  copy of the standards and a letter explaining more about this award in the near future.  Ask your child to share his/her fitness goals and other
activities happening in PE class.  Make fitness a family event!  Thanks, Ms. Lovitt
