Teacher's Corner

Hi!  My name is Kim Hudson.  I have been teaching at Raymond Central for 11 years now.  All of those years have been in the Second Grade classroom at Ceresco.  I received my Bachelors degree in Education from Nebraska Wesleyan University, my Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Doane College, and will graduate with a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership in May of 2010..  I am continually taking classes and educating myself in all areas of education.

Along with teaching there are many other important things in my life.  One of those is my family.  My husband, Jim, and I live here in Ceresco and we enjoy the small town life.  We have been very lucky to have three wonderful little girls.  Kelsey is in second grade and loves everything to do with school.  Abbie is in first grade and is very outgoing and loves to be outside, especially in the dirt. We added to our family this fall with another beautiful little girl, Lily.  She has been so much fun and is a reminder of all the miracles there are in this world.  We also have a very spoiled chocolate cocker spaniel at our house.  It wouldn't be right to talk about our family without mentioning Kobe.  He sometimes believes that he is the head of our family.

Well, here is a little bit of information about me and my background.  I enjoy every moment that I get to spend with the kids.  It is my philosophy that every child can learn and we are all here to help them do that.  If you ever have a question about your child's education, please contact me at anytime.  Together we can help your children become successful individuals.

"Children are world's most valuable resource and its best hope for the future."-- John F. Kennedy
