The closest access to a local hospital is in Wahoo, Nebraska. Residents of
the Village of Ceresco also have excellent access to medical facilities in Lincoln,
Nebraska approximately 13 miles South of Ceresco. Facilities include St. Elizabeth
Community Health Center, Lincoln General Hospital, Bryan Memorial Hospital, Veterans
Administration Medical Center, and the Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital.
The Ceresco Rural Fire Department District provides emergency fire and rescue services to
the Village of Ceresco and the surrounding community. Ceresco has a very well
qualified volunteer staff of people, who are very experienced in these types of high
pressure situations.Recently, Ceresco Fire Department has received a grant that allowed
them to purchase a high-tech. Heart Defibrillator.

The Ceresco Volunteer Rescue Department has 26 individuals that serve in the rescue unit. Timothy Greiner is Ceresco's Fire Chief and Matt Blanchard is the Rescue Chief. 13 EMT's and 1 registered nurse, are a part of the Ceresco rescue team. The rescue squad offers the service of an automated Defibrillator. |
