Industrial Tech 1/2

Description-Students will be asked to build a series of project which are of a problem solving nature.  Projects include: C02 vehicles, bridge construction, a lexan powered puller, sheet metal project, and a woodworking project.

Prerequisite-None

Industrial Tech 3/4

Description-  This class involves more in-depth problem solving in the areas of rocket propulsion, and robotics.  An advanced woodworking project will be considered the ending project.

Prerequisite- Ind 1/2

Industrial Tech 5/6

Description-An individual study class in which the student decides on a project for further in-depth study.

Prerequisite-Ind 3/4

Architectural Drafting

Description-A series of drawing will be developed in regards to building construction project.  An example would be house plans.

Prerequisite-CAD Drafting

CAD Drafting

Description-Computer aided drafting will use the Autocad program to draw machine parts.  Drawings will involve the use of 3 view, oblique, isometric and auxiliary view representations.

Prerequisite-None

Advertising/Graphic Design

Description-Students will be asked to design ads of tv, radios and printed media.  An art background is helpful but not required.

Autobody 1/2

Description-An introductory course for studets wanting to explore vehicle repairing and repainting techniques.

Prerequisite-None

Autobody 3/4

Description-A further study of vehicle body repair.  The student will be required to do paint matching and custom painting while learning the latest paint, metal, and plastic repair developments.

Prerequisite-Autobody 1/2

Industrial Tech 8

Description-A quarter class designed to explore communication, power and energy, and construction.  The main activities include: project drawings, a team video production, making a small turbine, building a spring powered vehicle, and constructing a wooden shelf.
